Sacramento, CA: Earlier this year, Bickmore Risk Services answered an open call for bids issued by the State of California in regards to a study of its workers’ compensation system.
Our firm answered based on our lengthy experience and extensive working knowledge with all aspects of the insurance industry. Bickmore was selected through a competitive bidding process that followed all state regulations, including strict regulations governing former state workers employed by state vendors. These same regulations apply to hundreds of state contracts for a wide variety of work involving thousands of former state workers now employed in the private sector. The study itself is still underway
and is due to be completed in January 2006. To draw any conclusions about the study’s content, recommendations or conclusions
is premature at best, and at worst, grossly unfair to the professionalism of all Bickmore Risk Services employees. Our employees understand and sympathize with all Californians frustrated and angered by the workers’ compensation system.
That’s why we’re proud of having an opportunity to help improve the workers’ compensation
system so that it fulfills its responsibility to all Californians.
